Ayathaya Red Wine

Shiraz 80%
Dornfelder 10%
Tempranillo 10%

Characteristics
Dark-ruby in colour. The descent aroma of wood, its fruity components reminiscent of dried plums and cherries give this wine its typical note. Velvet-soft tannin with descent background acidity gives this wine its well – balanced structure.

Food Matching
All red meat and all sorts of venison, lamb and barbeque dishes. Its excellent with mushrooms and with nearly all kinds of cheeses.

Recommended Temperature
14 – 18° C grade

 

Ayathaya White Wine

available in 750 ml and 375 ml

Grapes
Sauvignon Blanc 80%
Chenin Blanc 20%

Characteristics
Yellow colour with green reflexes. This wine is dominated by aromas of gooseberries, grapefruit and green apple. The full – bodied extracts reflect the ripened grapes. The combination of a mellow fructose and an elegant acid structure, gives this wine a balance in harmony with a fresh and pleasant after-taste.

Food Matching
Curries made with chicken, pork, all kids of sea food, sweet and sour Asian dishes, pastas and all vegetables.

Recommended Temperature
9 – 11° C grade

 

Aythaya Sauvignon Blanc Late Harvest

Sauvignon Blanc 90%
Chenin Blanc 5%
Semillon 5%

Characteristics
Strew-yellow colour. With its 14% vol. alcohol this powerful wine is dominated by rich aromas, gooseberries, grapefruit, banana, and pineapple. The high extracts reflect the fully ripened grapes combination with a harmony of mellow fructose and an elegant acid structure. All this makes an exceptional, full-bodied wine with a long and pleasant after-taste.

Food Matching
Curries made with veal, mutton and chicken, all kinds of sea foods, sweet and sour Asian dishes, pastas and all kind of vegetables. Especially gratin dishes.

10 – 13° C grade

 

Ayathaya Rose

Grapes
Shiraz 90 %
Red Muscat 10%

Characteristics
Salmon colour. It has an attractive and typical Shiraz aroma which is accompanied by a bouquet of roses and fruity freshness. The slight notes of tannin with a trace of mellow fructose ensure the necessary and lasting harmony of the after-taste.

Food Matching
Sweet and sour and hot-spiced Asian dishes with white meats and well spiced fish dishes. Excellent also for most pastas.

7 – 9° C grade

 

Ayatha Dessert Wine

Grapes
Red Muscat

Characteristics
Light ruby colour, the smell is rich of honey, muscat and dried wild berries. The combination of residual sugar with acidity is the secret of this complex and full-bodied wine. The intensive mouth feeling of honey, cherry, peach, chocolate and tropical fruit gives this wine a very long after-taste.

Food Matching
All kinds of sweet deserts, strong cheese plates and even with sweet and sour dishes or by itself at the end of a meal.

11 – 14° C grade
